]]>This is a memorial to all the guard dogs in the military who lost their lives while on duty. So touching with how the military gentleman is holding his dog, looking down upon him while placing his hand on its head. They are friends...more so, they have love and respect for one another.

These two women seem to be purposely stepping on the cracks. Maybe they don't like their mothers?? Lol. It's so nice to see grown women playing and laughing like children, and not being inhibited so as to keep them from wrapping their arms around each other. I hope their entire day was full of smiles and laughter.

Someone, somewhere, is stepping out onto the ice for the first time. Remember when you did something like that for the very first time? Were you filled with that mix of anxiety and excitment that comes from trying something new and different? It has been SO LONG since I have had that kind of thrill in my life. At a mere 47 years old, I'm starting to feel the weight of mediocrity pulling me to my grave. In this new year I'm going to try and SCARE MYSELF with the challenge of new things. I want do do new things, learn new things, maybe even become something different from what I am. If we NEVER take that first step, well NEVER get anywhere.
